Hello. I just bought my 2nd Ranger after my 2000 xlt was stolen. This go around i bought an 86. She needs a bit of love but over all i'm happy that I found it. I will probably be asking some dumb questions as I am not the most mechanically inclined but I am trying to learn.

Thanks. I just got it a few days ago. So far I have replaced the break fluid reservoir, and tightened the steering. I need to replace the wheels because the previous owner put Jeep Rubicon wheels on it and in order to make them fit he widened the center bore. I got it home and noticed a crack in one of the front wheels.

Yea. I was able to get it home. Yesterday I picked up a set of 17" rims from someone I found on craigslist. They are off of a mustang. Based off of what I can find through they should fit. If not i will have to run spacers to make them fit. I'm going to be testing it on saturday.

I'm not a spacer fan... but lots of folks run them.

Just remember to torque and retorque after putting a few miles on... even medium strength loctite on the adapter bolts never hurt.
