Needs engine replace $2100 plus $150 in misc. (2 low compression on one side and at least 2 others on other side.)Not going to replace heads $1600 not Guarantee the bottom end won't have issues.Well find the proper forum and ask your questions...someone here will know.

It is ! He has got to learn either way , I'm not made of money. It's a responsibility to take care of what he's got. Brand new or not.that doesn't look like an Easter egg.
hope the rest of your Ranger is in good shape. that's a big chunk of money to put in an 18 year old truck.
