been a few years since I was last here. Still have the same 87 ranger and the 92 aerostar. where did the Aerostar section go? :icon_confused:

Welcome back...I guess when Jim moved TRS the last time he had to do so rather abruptly and some things got left out...either deliberately or by way of inclusion with other forums...

We used to have a Computer forum also, but that disappeared with the last move too...try the Non-RBV forum...you might find some Aerostar posts in there...

they used to consider it an RBV since it shares many components. I guess it wasn't glamorous enough...

Well they do have many parts that interchange, so it's close enough...I have the finned drums from an Aerostar on my Ranger currently...glamorous maybe a bit of a stretch for them...I'd settle for functional and reliable...

I thought they were interesting vehicles when they first came out...a bit of a rust problem with them in Canada though...so not many of them survived...my nephew just bought one that is in really good shape...rustproofing is a necessity in the salt belt...

the only salt here is from the ocean. so if they park near the beach they rust top down. mine is still in decent shape. a few dents that my grandma (used to be hers) put in it but no major damage.
