That is a nice truck.

I have those same rims on my truck, and have considered painting them since the finish is starting to wear. After seeing your future truck, I am GOING to paint them before I get new tires put on.

Thanks. I haven't seen it in person yet... will tomorrow but I really do like how they look in the picture.

That truck looks pretty clean...

I would take a hard look at the bottom of the doors... front core support... bottom of the bed. All well known rust areas on the later model Rangers.

I had a mechanic shop do a thorough inspection and they noted a small rust spot on the body under one of the front headlights but nothing else on the body. The frame had some surface rust and the dealer sanded it off and used POR-15 on it. The mechanics said it was in real nice shape and they would like to have it. They noted inspections points as red/yellow/green. I got all the red/yellow stuff resolved, so hoping it will turn out to be a good truck for me.

Glad you had someone look at it. If I was buying it... I would still take a quick look at those places I mentioned before signing the deal. Seems they all have it to some extent... especially if they've seen any snow and salt.

You're gonna have so much fun in your new to you Ranger... Take good care of it and you will have many good years with it.

Good advice/Thanks. Yep, i have the complete inspection report and will look before finalizing. I will take excellent care of it and hope to have it a long time.

it has 135K on it. The only thing issue that I did not notice when I got the truck home and in the garage is it is leaning to the left. At the lot, where I picked it up, the ground was not paved/level so I did not notice it. I starting searching an apparently it is common... called the "ranger lean". I am taking it to my mechanic in a couple of weeks to see if they can figure out what is causing it. They think the torsion bar needs adjusting. Some posts mentioned a full gas tank, but I checked with it nearly empty... the leaf springs look good too.

Wilbur, exactly. With a measuring tape, measure from the ground to the upper fender wheel cutout on each side. My T-bars were worn out. One was max'ed out & the other was 4 turns from the top to level it out. But with the driver in the seat, an extra turn on that side would be recommended. I'm running coilovers now. Good to see what looks like a real nice ride. Keep that bad ride shiny. That color around here in College Station is very popular!. - Doug

Thanks for the info Doug. When I got the truck home, and took it to my mechanic to see what he thought, I saw him do the measuring on both sides in multiple places. I take it in the 29th for the work to be done. So I had to look up coilovers (don't know much mechanically)... those are T-bar replacements? Yep, I will take real good care of it. First non-black car I have ever had... I really like the color change :)
