02 Ranger XLT Supercab 4x4 4.0 5R55E. Inquiring about 2 different exhaust heat shields. The first one is the one that goes along side the transmission over the servo covers. I have seen videos of them but mine does not have them. Did they only come on certain model years? Also, I recently replaced my fuel tank crossmember with an aftermarket one due to it rusting out. The heat shield on it is also rusted out and pretty much unusable. If I had time I could probably have fabricated one but I was in a time crunch and had to get the bed back on so I did not reinstall it or make one. I have looked through lots of exploded diagrams and could not find it. It is definitely serviced separately since it was bolted on. Does anyone know where I could find one? Or would I be better off with some kind of adhesive backed reflective heat shielding I could stick on the crossmember? I will post pictures of the old crossmember heat shield. Thanks
