How're the heat shield(s) above the cat, on the body, attached? Riveted?
Mine are making quite an annoying noise just around 2k rpm and it's been going on for long enough now.

tack welded at about 4 spots. I hate that rattle.

I seem to recall seeing giant hose clamp-like things that you can wrap around your loose shield and converter to hold it all together and keep it from rattling.

If you don't have time to do it right will you have time to do it over?
Ford used to sell big worm drive clamps to reattach the shields. Please reattach the shields and don't just take them off, I've seen carpets catch fire from cat heat and missing shields.

Every 8 or 10 years I put a piece of steel wire on my loose one. Just twist it with lineman pliers.
