I would double check the temperature with an OBD II reader or an infrared thermometer, if the upper and lower radiator hose are the same temperature and that temperature is over 200F just sitting idling the radiator is fried, just flushing doesn't rule out the radiator. After I changed the radiator in my F350 I back flushed it then stuck it in the box from the new radiator and it kept leaking for about 2 weeks afterward so it was PLUGGED (both internally and externally actually which didn't help)

Just checking, I would still double check the temperature through the computer, two COMPLETE different circuits, the dash gauge has power at the gauge and the ground is supplied through the sending unit, the more continuity (less resistance) to ground the higher the reading.

Has anyone used stop leak in the thing? I've heard and seen horror stories, it might plug the leak but will plug other things too like coolant ports through the engine block.
