I bought headman headers for my 93' 4x4 ranger v8 swap i read that you can run in to problems with home made motor mounts is this true and will they still work?

This is what I ran into (passenger):



The red arrow is pointing where the header needs to be, the circled area is the point of contact. Granted the plate will get cut down more, but ultimately it looks there is going to be some clearance issue. Other side looks fine so far...

i used 89 mustang convert mounts had no clearance iuuse well just a tiny bit with the engine cradle and a tiny bit off the passenger side motor mount except im trying to work out a starter that will fit im also running a c-6
