my 90 b2 is having an issue with my headlights and parking lights now. i pull the switch back one click and the parking lights dont come on. the headlights will come on if it pull it back all the way. then if i push the switch just slightly back forward both will finally come on. i figured it was the switch so i replaced that but still nothings changed. anyone have any ideas?

the only thing i can think of is a relay or a ground but i have no clue. my electrical knowledge isnt as much as i would like. my electrical teacher told me something that i wont forget that makes me think ground now though, "most electrical problems are resistive in nature and occur at connections". seems to have run true on most of my problems

Did you check to see if the plug for the light switch has any loose or burned wires to cause it to not have a full connection to the switch.

All my electrical teacher told me was are ****en stupid get the **** out of my class. On my first day of class.

yeah i checked the plug on the switch, the headlights, parking lights, and sidemarkers. sounds like the teacher's panties got pulled up a bit to far that day
