Well everytime I try to start my truck, it will crank over but won't start on the first try, even with warm weather. If I try a couple of times it will eventually start.

I have already replaced plugs, wires, fuel filter, MAF Sensor.

I do not have a computer scanner and was wondering what yalls thoughts were on the problem.

Thanks guys...

What kinda shape is your battery in? With how new the truck is, if the battery hasnt been replaced yet since new...??? First thought.

There is a little problem with fuel pumps in the tank.. Sometimes they bleed back the fuel into the tank when the engine is turned off.
Try this: Next time you get in the Ranger turn the key to the run position, when there the fuel pump will come on and build up the pressure...then after 5 or 6 seconds turn the key farther to the start position. If it starts right up you have found the problem.

Another problem could be the temp switch for the computer is hung in the hot position. So the engine is trying to start thinking it is already up to temperature..

If the first key on and then start doesn't fix it then go get another temp switch.

Well I tried the fuel pump idea and no go. I guess Ill replace the sensor and see if that fixes it.
