Yes, hope everyone has a happy and safe 4th of July and remember to thank a Vet. I know it's not Veterans Day or Memorial Day, but they helped preserve the freedoms that we all enjoy that were laid down by our Founding Fathers.

Same back at 'Cha, DG. I hate fireworks...can't stand the noise so I just stay at home and watch my property to make sure it is safe. I do love to watch the fireworks over the lakes. They are safer when done by professionals and go way up and are not as noisy. So beautiful to view.
Some guy near us on Monday blew off his right hand trying to make a bigger explosive device in his bathroom with roman rockets. Somehow the powder ignited and blew up on him. He caught the house on fire and got arrested. Duh!!!!

Thanks DG and to Bob for another great photo! Went on a car cruse this morning with everything from Model T's to led sleds to muscle cars and everything in between. Lots of cars decked out with flags. Ended up at the Fairgrounds for a fried chicken fed by the vol. fire department. Almost 80 while last year hit 96 degs. Time to sit back and reflect on what those brave citizen-soldiers went thru way back when.

We just celebrated Canada Day where everyone runs around naked kissing beavers and eating hot dogs...oh, wait, that was the porno I watched...anyway...enjoy the festivities...there is much to be thankful for in both Canada and the US...

I know EXACTLY what you mean.........so I think about when I was a kid and how much fun fireworks were back then......makes the noise a little easier to deal with.........
