I am really happy with the Hankook Dynapros with 14k on them, best factory tire I have had.. It is the first time I would consider putting OEM tires on as replacements, idk if it was a option tire or they come with the package

Crossed threads are tight threads.
I think they are stock factory. My 08F150 I bought brand new came with them. They were good tires, just pizza cutter sized for that truck. But they held up to off road abuse and overloading, surviving (barely) a trip to burning man '15. The only problem I had with them was the sidewalls would tear rather easily if I caught a boulder just right, or "tickled" a curb, especially the steel lined gutter drain part.

I now run Falken Wildpeak LT's, in a slightly bigger size (which I cant recall because its metric). Awesome tire, takes 80 psi but I run em at 55psi when unloaded to lessen bump steer. Very beefy sidewalls and they love being loaded down. so far wear seem on par w/ the dynapros. Traction much better, but in all fairness its a bigger size.

They come with the FX4 package, maybe the FX2 package as well.

So far mine have been good for a street oriented All Terrain.

Much better than the Goodyear Wrangler SRAs that came on my 2011. They were round and had tread. About the only good things I have to say about them.

+1 Im not big goodyear fan either....Terrible motorcycle tires as well: too stiff, take forever to heat up, and yet still manage to wear fast!

Im speaking from a street handling perspective, the Dynapros hold in turns. I have had summer hankooks on my old XT, from what I recall they a good price

I had Revos on the rear of two of my rangers, wore out quick pricey as shit but man they handled

Great thread. Glad to see other folks like the Dynapro ATM's too.

Last set of tires we had installed on our '02 Tacoma TRD were Dynapro ATM's. When we traded in the Tacoma on our 2019 Ranger the ATM's had 57,000 miles on them...

I really considered putting a set on my 06... I ended up going a different route.

But we bought a 2011 Edge in 2013 with 17K on a set of the factory Hankooks. I replaced 2 at 100K and the other 2 at 110K. Sold the car to my daughter and she put 2 tires on at 200K and 2 more at 220K. They wear really really good... I still have a hard time believing it.

At 28000 miles my 2017 F150 on factory Hankooks suffered a catastrophic failure of the left rear. The resulting crash totaled the truck and the 2019 travel trailer I was towing. When I bought the truck new I could not believe that Ford would use such a cheap and unproven brand. I considered changing them immediately and now I am sorry I didn't. In 54 years of driving and at times 75000 miles a year as a road salesman, I have never had a blowout until now. It is a POS brand and I wouldn't put them on a hand truck.

Interesting, I had the opposite experience w/ my dynapros.

I abused them quite a bit for work and play.

The worst of which was when I made it from Los Angeles to Black Rock Desert, NV....with and overloaded bed, overloaded trailer, tires and suspension just about bottomed out....and a sketchy driver going way too fast (70+)! Luckily the drive back was sans crazy driver and trailer and half the payload.

I think it was merely just not my time to die yet lol.

They are a good tire if you plan to stay on road and perhaps maintained fire roads. Considering what most people use their vehicles for, it is a good match.

Less than what I want/need but that doesn’t make it a bad tire. I’ll run them until they wear out and get the style I really want.

The tread pattern looks similar to the Wildcountry XTX tires I had on my Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 several years ago, they did pretty well, so I'd expect the Dynapros to do pretty well on a slightly smaller size truck. That's a good all terrain basic tire that should be on a 4x4 pickup in the first place, not all season passenger car tires LOL.

Not a new vehicle by any means, but I got a cheap set of Starfire all season tires for my Bronco 2, at about 20k they're already worn down to the wear bars, and that's with highway driving, not impressed...too bad tire makers just don't make tires the right size for these old vehicles anymore...can't find anything other than cheap all seasons for my Bronco 2 and my Ranger. I'm not sure if I should or could go up to a 235/75-R15 on the Bronco 2, at least it would allow me to get some all terrain rubber on it. The Ranger has 225/70-R14's on it which seem to fit fine, but they're some sort of non-studded winter rated tire so they're wearing pretty fast.

If I remember correctly, 225/70R15 is a good match to replace the 225/70R14. I know Rangers that came after the trucks with 14s were equipped with that size. As far as the Bronco, I don’t know enough about them to make any kind of informed opinion on what fits them.

Come thru this post a couple times and left it alone but I have had my FX2 for 8 days now and I absolutely hate these hankook tires that came on the truck. 600 miles in and I am tire shopping tonight.
Grip (wet and dry), side wall rigidity, profile. Even the side wall lettering is ugly. I haven’t been able to find a single redeeming quality about the tires. Maybe they have good wear but I don’t plan on testing them out that long.
Cooper Discovery Pro seems the popular direction most are taking here but they are a bit too aggressive for the lack of off roading I’ll be doing. Wanna find a good square wide profile tire that performs. Hoping to find a cheaper option than the Toyos
