Over the summer was building a basement wall at my mom's... Got to the last row at the top and had to shim up the block to pack in the motar dude to narrow joint gap.

Welp got all done went to pull one of the shims and stabbed myself right in the left ear.

Had the worst ER doc I ever had grab my muffed up ear WITHOUT numbing agent and try to pull it out. All while I'm trying not to rip the arms off the chair.... Then he fumbles around the room with bloody gloves touching everything.

Finally finds the numbing crap and stabs me through the ear with it... Then finally gets it right and pulls it out. And proceeds to pour quick clot in my ear hole and all over the outside....

Shoulda just had my brother pull it out...

Well, hospitals do have an obligation to hire the handicapped, sorry differently-abled, oops that's not correct now either, “Person with a disability” I think

Any way, what bummer on that visit

Bummer.....

One of the only entertaining things that happened during the time I was getting rid of Mistake #1, was that she got a splinter in her foot and had to ask me to dig it out. Not too many times in this life you get to poke the ex with a pocketknife, and get away with it :icon_rofl::icon_rofl::icon_rofl::icon_rofl::icon_rofl::icon_rofl::icon_rofl::icon_rofl::icon_rofl::icon_rofl::icon_rofl:

She REALLY did not want to have to ask me to do that, but it was that or go to the ER. It must have hurt like hell for her to suck it up and admit I was the best choice to get it out, or at least the cheapest (I try to run the pocketknife through the dishwasher if I have to use it gutting a deer, safety first).

Well the worst part was it was like 1/2 in long and like 1/16th thick. Jammed in there and broke off. But yeah even the nurse didn't like that guy.

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.

I would send them a bill for pain and distress for $151.00

Or claim the doctor body shamed you with cyber bullies or whatever. That seems to get everyone in trouble these days?
