I know we are all gearheads and junkyard scroungers here and usually are willing to help others out....

If any of yall are out in your local boneyard and happen to run across a 77-79 LTD II/Ranchero (espicially you guys out west where it seems shit lingers forever) can you see if you could score me a passenger side front marker/turn signal assembly for a decent (under 100 bucks) price?

Ive started gathering parts to hopefully get my 77 LTD II back on the road this year and i need one. It has to be a 77-79 LTD II (regular LTD, cougars, tbird, all are different and wont work) or 77-79 Ranchero.

If anyone gets one, PM me what i owe you and ill send a cashier check, money order, paypal, whatever.

Thank you!

EDIT

Heres pics of the front and rear of an LTD II incase so yall know what they look like and you can spot one...if you didnt already know. They come in 2 door. 4door, and wagons and the ranchero is the same basically it just has a bed...

Not sure about flatter but no they wont work. Thats why they are so hard to find....only the LTD II/Ranchero ran them.

maybe guy in TX will make you a deal... ? might be worth 2 bucks on a phone call ... cheers and wish you luck. all our pick-a-parts yards have been shuttered or they just don't have anything going back that far any more. only option around here is some old farmer's field or something like that. will keep an eye out for you.

cheers

Those LTD II's were a nice ride back in the day. Rode like a boat, if my memory serves. My stepmother had one. She passed it on to my brother, who drove it through grade 12, and then sold it to buy a truck.

That wont work. Unfourtantly. Thats one from a fullsize LTD.

I definantly miss driving it. They are nice cruisers.

My grandfather had a fullsize LTD. He said it was a '79, but the '79 had the same tail lights as the LTDII, and his didn't have those tail lights. His had the same tail lights as a 1977 Ford Thunderbird. The car caught fire in about 1981. I know it was a brown hard top, and I remember the tail lights. A few years later one of my teachers had one in green, same generation.

Mom and Dad had a blue two door when I was 6. one of those lights was swiped out of it when Dad went shopping. dad was a bit ticked. and that was when the car was only a year old...

Mark 5 flatter?
The full size LTD had similar looking but they weren't as deep as the LTD II.

while the LTD II was a good looking car, it was one of the more meh cars we owned. Dad traded it off for an 81 Caprice. Huge difference in comfort/ power and parking ease.
