Grill Modifications

i know about the grill modification in the tech libary. my question is has anyone tried this mod on a gen 4 or an 2004 style grill?
to my knowledge the "gutter gard" isn't wide enough to fill the grill the way it's made now and i was wondering what i could use to make one that would give me the aparance of chrome ?

chrome spray paint' it doesnt stay mirror like very long though

i was looking for somewere to get wider screen that had a chrome aparance.

I was just at Lowes last weekend looking at gutter guard for my 04 grill. They had some there that was 6"x30" in a 5 pack. It was something around $8.

I was gunna buy it but decided I already have too many projects; t-case, spare mount, hood, HIDs,........

stucco on houses the mesh they use it for forming corners and block out you can gt in 4x8 sheets and its the same stuff

hit up a steel supplier and ask to take a look at there expanded metal seletion. Thats all gutter gard is.
