When I moved here in 02, I could get a CCW easy. Then in 2011 or 12, it became a handgun permit because Open Carry became legal. Then it became Constitutional Carry and no permit required last year. Switchblade knives, legal. Bowie knives, legal. I mean, it's pretty much anything goes here. Carry a 1911 open, and the police don't even ask you about it. It's strange, and hard to get used to.

I could get used to that...I dont really trip on cops as much as the next guy around here...they are just humans at work too, albeit with their own set of problems

But, anyway, we're two hours ahead of you here. It's a little after two am. Time for me to hit the old hay. I work nights, from 3:30 to midnight. Stay up a short while drinking booze. Then crash. It's that time.

btw, I still have friends in CA. One of them drives, and passes through here once in a while. He even has keys to my pad so he can crash while i'm at work. Would you do that, out there? ;-)

Yeah, Palmdale Boulevard. Lived near there. Those were the days. Lived in Lancaster for a spell. Even lived in Rosamond for a few years. The good old days.
