I want to wire in my windshield mounted Garmin GPS to power on/off with the ignition key switch. My manual indicates the dash side fuse panel fuse F2.28 for the radio, etc. I would like to use a an Add-a-Fuse add on adapter but does fuse F2.28 or any of the others power on/off with the key switch?

I poop in the furnace.
You want something that powers in the RUN position but does not disconnect in the START position. On my truck the radio temporarily shuts off in the start position and then comes back on once the engine is running. The reason you don't want this for the GPS is it takes time to boot up, if you turn it on with the truck off and the key in the run position to punch in an address then start the truck, it'll shut off for a second and boot back up and loose the information you just entered. Ask me how I know...

Wiper motor fuse, blower motor fuse, or turn signal fuse would all be acceptable options that are ON in RUN and START.

See what open slots you have in the fuse block. There might be something available like what Dirtman is mentioning already.

Cab fuse box, fuse 11 and fuse 19 have 12v in RUN/START, but not ACC

Fuse 16 and 20 have 12v in RUN/ACC but not START

Fuse 28 only has 12v in START, its actually there to MUTE the radio not to power it, radio key on fuse is 20
