I got me a new(ish) computer. I had a 2000ish IBM thinkpad. Was working pretty good but was slow as hell and I picked up a virus and it of course it made it worse. I was still using it but it took lots of patients with it constantly having error codes and closing the internet every few mins. Any how I was talking to Black'03LevelII in chat one night in oneof the brief times the computer was working, he said he had a newer Dell that needed a hard drive reformat, due to some bad virus and then to have windows and everything loaded back onto it. he offered to meet up with me at a car show in Columbus and he'd bring the computer free of charge. I just needed to buy a adaptor for he had lost it. So I got on amazon.com found a brand new dell adaptor for 15 bucks. I was talking to a co-worker about the situation he told me he built and cleaned computers for fun and offered to do it for free! He not only reformated and reuploaded windows XP he also installed Firefox, antivirus, ad blocker, all widows updates, and a few other nifty programs i can't remember all of'em. He wrote out a full instruction manual on how to use the antivirus and the different options for firefox and how to get things going and left it on my desktop. I must say I'm very happy he turned it into a brand new computer. He's also going to clean up my IBM for free too. Anyway heres a pic. Dell Inspiron B130 (don't mind my cats ass he likes to lay behind the computer when I'm on it.)

Thanks again James and Cory!

Yea I gave up using my phone. I can't afford a nice smart phone and it too frustrating to use small phone on the net.

My lappy is well and truly dead..... it needs a new hard drive, new battery pack, new NIC card and possibly a memory replacement (and no telling how long the keyboard is going to hold out). Just not really worth spending money on anymore (IBM Thinkpad T-22 - top shelf back in 2001 when I bought it, lol). I deff miss having a laptop even though I built a pretty decent desktop for myself a couple years ago and have been upgrading it here and there.

Nice score on the lappy though!

My friend had one that was like 5 years old and worked flawlessly. They run much smoother than a PC in my opinion.
