Gosh dang crooked truck.

1994 4.0l super cab. Installed a skyjacker 4inch kit with new extended radius arms. Rig had the ranger lean to the driver side. New front springs, New rear leafs.

Just installed 6 inch skyjacker springs on the front. Both front beams are in the upper pivot holes. Drove the truck around the block a few times, needs an alignment after this switch. Gained about an inch and a half of lift.

However, the truck still has the typical lean to the driver side. About an inch difference from driver to passenger.

Should I attempt to shim the driver up with a 0.25" washer? I had played with this before and had a hard time getting decent results.

What have some of your guys done to even out the ranger lean!?!

My truck leans hard to the driver side but I have found its usually when I got gas in my tank, I have just left it for what it is in hopes to get a different fuel tank that's not only on one side of the truck.

How do the body mounts and body mount bushings look?

If the body bushings and everything else checks out, a washer or two under the driverside lower coil spring perch is an acceptable means for leveling it (in fact, Ford often put a shim there from the factory, my '94 I recall had one before I lifted it). The FSM also mentions using a shim (washer) here for correcting a lean as well.

my 93 had a twisted/bent frame, right rear was 2” higher than the left side. steering wheel wasnt centered and I had issues getting the alignment right. By removing the factory lift block from between the right rear spring pack & rear axle it fixed most of those issues. It still wouldnt return to center after a turn anymore but was able to align it & drive it. Maybe yours has a tweaked frame.
