Hello all,
So I buy this low mileage steal and seat won’t move, yesterday I test drove a 94 and did brake check and got launched into steering wheel. Irony, anyways. Get it home and it only has 3 mounting bolt as rear outboard (door side) is snapped off and right rear will not come out. Two fronts came out. So I didn’t cut line rear bolt off as three are better than two. The slider mechanisms are frozen and handle broke in half so I wanted to just order new ones. Bwahahahahaha. Discontinued of course. So are all gen three sliders interchangeable or only 98-04’ when the made a seat back change did they change regular cab floor pans as well? Can anyone help? The frozen bolt is of course above fuel tank so only minimal topside heat was applied. Not to mention it is rounded off to boot. Beat on a crows foot and nearly broke the ratchet and nothing. So what to do? What to do? Sucks that wife is foot shorter than I am as well and it’s in mid range so too far back for her and too far front for me. Sold my 69 F100 Saturday and we agreed to buy this one to tie us over till I get my 2wd 7.3L excursion again. Never ever shoulda sold that or my 59’ or the 3 broncos lol. Anyways what do you think?
