I could really use some help locating where this Galley plug is supposed to go
56450

there is 3 in total, two are already installed on the back of the block just next to the freeze plug.
(if you look to the front of the block, left, you see a galley plug is placed in the oil pressure sensor hole next to the engine mount, this is not correct)

I NEED to find where this Galley plug is actually goes. any help would be fantastic. the block is now installed so I cant easily look the block over to find it.

My credo
If you can’t fix it with a hammer, you have an electrical problem
That plug is for the water jacket you have circled.

On the rear of the engine just below the Cam's core plug there is an oil gallery plug, it was often a plug like you have in your hand(OOPS, you already did that one, sorry)
Front may have the same, can't remember

Oil pump's over pressure ball and spring valve also has a plug like that I think

Would that plug be on the oil pump itself or on the block in the pan?

On the oil pump

If this is an extra plug that came with a "kit" it may be for oil pressure switch passage, so not used

one came with the rebuild kit and one came back from my machinist after the hot tank and bore. I'm sure its used but I had it in the wrong location
