Hopefully this is the right forum for this question. All the info on my truck is in my siggy.
I recently just completed an M5OD swap and am tying up loose ends. I've swapped the correct computers. I've got a CEL, and it is reading P0453. I've narrowed this code down to the Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor based on the diagnostics on AllData (this program is amazing).
Now, to replace it I have to drop the fuel tank. I have never done a Ranger before, and I have skidplates which seem riveted on. Do these need to be ground off, and also, any tips for dropping these tanks? Once I get the skid off, it seems easy from there. I also plan on replacing the fuel pump while I'm in there; no sense in dropping the tank twice.
