Well i put a new fuel pump in and of course the fuel gauge stopped working when I did. I went out to take the new pump out and one of the clips that holds one of the lines broke. It was the green one and now I cant get the line off the pump. I tried sticking a couple of tiny screwdrivers in each side with no luck. So before I take a hammer to it maybe someone has had the same issue and could suggest how to get this thing disconnected before I go gorilla on it. Also, does anyone sell the clips? I just got home from NAPA with a set that doesnt work.

90 degree pick from the bottom there are 2 small holes should be able to push it up through the top take your time. also a small zip tie will work to hold the fuel line on also I think dorman makes these clips

those clips have a lip on one side of the hole. push the clip in about 1/16" and the lip clears the ridge on the fuel tank line.
the clips do not come out.

they look like an oval with 2 tiny ears. the ears are the springy parts that hold the clip in the locked position.
after the plastic line is removed from the steel line the clip can be removed.
