Fuel Injector recommendations 1999 4.0 OHV

What are the fuel injector recommendations for a 1999 4.0 engine?

My Ranger Odometer reads 240,000 plus miles. No particular reason to swap them out other than I currently have the intake manifold and heafs out. This engine has been worked on before me. But can't tell how old the injectors are.

If it ain't broke don't fix it? Or while I'm there get some new ones?

Ain't Brooke, don't fix it.

If you're going to anyway, get on eBay or some other site and order a set of rebuilt and flow matched stock injectors. I've purchased them from fuel injector connection before. Can't recall which vehicle, but was satisfied with what I got.

On the 5.0 I actually bought a kit and "rebuilt" myself. They worked before and I wasn't going to buy replacements when I might need larger and a tune in the near future. If you want to try you can find instructions on YT.

Seriously though, my vote is if it ain't broke, don't fix it. The injectors aren't hard to get to if one does go bad.
