97’ 2.3L automatic. Fuel gauge sits on half regardless of fuel level. Tried the Anti Slosh module and that wasn’t it. No blown fuses. Can someone help?

It could be the sending unit in the tank. I used to have a 1984 Ranger and the fuel gauge didn't work for it and it was the sending unit was bad.
