I’ve been trying to find replacement front sway bar bushings for my 86 Ranger 4x4. It seems older Rangers like mine have 2 sets of bushings on the front sway bar: one set mounting it to the frame and a second set mounting it to the radius arm (and no links to speak of). I can find the frame mounts at any auto parts store, but am drawing a complete blank finding the sway bar-to-radius arm bushings. I’ve seen similar posts on the subject from others, but no definite resolution.
Anybody know where I can find stabilizer bar-to-radius arm bushings? I started out looking for poly, but at this point either rubber or poly would be fine. I’m just getting sick of searching…
Thanks!
P.S. Before it's suggested, removing the sway bar isn’t an option for me; the truck rolls around (and scares the wife) enough as it is. And I’m really hoping to avoid having to do any retrofitting or new sway bar installation.
