Hey everyone, I bought a 97 Ranger Rebel in 2020 and have been fixing it up slowly over the past couple years. I recently changed out the rotors and brake lines/hoses in the front and realized the passenger side hose had a small ~2'' long section worn down by the tire to a point you could start seeing the internal hose through the rubber (sketchy right). The tires are not huge and the wheels are stock. I checked the replacement part I purchased and it was the exact same hose (BH380411) as specified by the part store to fit this truck. This hose sits very close to the tire and rubs when going almost to full lock turning left. The hose comes with a plastic sprial wrap with 2 hooks that look to grip onto something, however in my truck the only thing it is close enough to grip onto is the coil spring which does not seem right. Has anyone else had this problem before or did the last person who changed this brake line on my truck position the hose wrong and I am just blindly following thier stupidity. Any help is appreciated. I can post pictures tomorrow but it would be helpful to see what other 2nd gen ranger front passenger brake setups look like. Thanks
