Fellas,

I am building a 98 Ranger short box reg cab for some weekend fun. I am doing a solid axle swap and currently, I am in search of a front output yoke/shaft option.

I’ve tried to search without much luck. Does Neapco still make the front fixed yoke adapter that bolts up to the stock output? I have tried getting in contact with them and a few dealers without much luck as of yet. That would be the easiest alternative. Would an output shaft from an older (pre 97) bw1354 work? I don’t mind having to split the case to swap in a new shaft, however I haven’t found any sound proof that it will be a simple swap as of yet.

I am trying to not spend a fortune on this if I don’t have to. I’d rather spend money on something else if possible.

If anyone has an old yoke/shaft kicking around that could be of use to me, I will purchase

located in Northern Ontario, Canada
Thanks!

I didn't ask for your life story, just answer the question!
Yes... you can swap the front output shaft from an early 13-54 into yours. It can be from either a manual or E-shift, that doesn’t matter.

^^ That's a good thing to know. Too bad manual transfer cases got rare in the later years.

I have a1993 1354 I am not going to use. If it will fit I will gladly sell it. I use the 1350's.
