right now I've been rocking my rusty's off road 6.5" xj coils. Since most of my D44 axle parts are here and I'm going to a 3 link suspension system from radius arm. I've been thinking about going with a higher PPI coil, Rusty says its 808 xj 6.5 coil is 150 PPI which from what I'm told. I've read that there coils are to soft for RBV. I do feel my ranger has a lot of body roll, even with front sway bar hooked up. But I don't know they have been on my Ranger/bronco II for over 11 years and for being a soft coil they have not saged at all. I do a lot more DD than trails, and I've been thinking about going with Duff EB progressive 5.5 coils. whats input of duff coils there like $75 bucks more than bronco Graveyard coils. but the Duff coils are processive.

My credo
it is easier to fix and understand than "her"
Your goals are important.

The 150 ppi work well with oem style c cap radius arms....

Going to low friction high travel heim style suspension...200 to 275 range will keep decent road manners.

Your specific geometry will dictate rate.

I'm going from jeep long arm radius arms not c cap radius arms. Not than that makes a difference? I want decent road manners over anything, Is there a way to calculate that on something like the 3 link calculator?
Nevermind I found a thread on Bronco Corral that you commented on that has how to do the math in it. I guess i just had the search the right words.

My ranger weighs in at 4100 pounds so its a little heavier than a XJ but no much.

I guess I'll still have these coils if i don't like whatever else I get. Ill do the calculations and see what it tells me.
