HI,
Name: Grant, career: Fabricator, passion: building car to suit my needs and desires. Age:33. Working on making my 98 Ranger single cab, short bed, 2wd, stick, truck into a respectfully done ricer/ JDM wannabe.

This is the idea I'm following. Make me a Escort MK3 RS1600 out of my truck. Except it'll be a Ranger MK3 2.5.
I know it's crazy, but its fun to try. I'll give updates as I go.

Here is what I've done since acquisition of the "Blue Oyster".
#1. New brakes on the front, hoses, lines, hubs, pads and calipers.
#2. Exhaust 2 flowmaster high flow cats, borla muffler and pace setter header.
#3. Made a ducktail spoiler out of 4" aluminum angle and got a fiberglass tonneau
#4. Roll pan rear valance.
So far that's it. Working on a set of rims and lowering kit.

I do too. And it's a small tribute to Paul Walker. My plan is to hop up the 2.5. Or get a twin cam 1.8, 2.0, 2.3, 2.5 and semi hop one of them. Everybody does the 5.0 swaps and some are getting into the ECoboost game. But I like going away from conventional.
