Give 'yer balls a tug. Fight me.
On my way home one night... on the freeway... I blew past a stihl backpack blower sitting dead center in the fast lane. Road was void of traffic so I braked hard and off to the shoulder I went. Stopped... grabbed reverse... hit the flashers and proceeded to back up until I got to the blower. I opened the door and a car was now headed my way... to close to run and grab it. Stood beside my truck and this fella moved to the fast lane and hit it. Must have been full of fuel because I got sprayed. He popped a tire and the blower was wedged under his lower control arm. He had no spare so I ended up giving him a ride home.

Stihl bummed about that one...
I would have left him there for ruining my loot.

I found a $5 bill, but it was decades ago when $5 could actually buy something.

5$ can still buy a trip to the moon... as long as you're in the right alley.

Can’t remember anything really cool finding it on the road. The usual random little stuff like tarp straps. My poor F-150 has gone over a couple deer. That’s not pretty. My choptop tagged a chicken, I slowed down and they moved off the road so I sped back up and one ran out… POOF! Feathers everywhere. Like a white feather bomb just went off. Whoops.

A nice nearly new 20" Rigid pipe wrench.

Not sure of what I'll use it for but I have it just in case

It's an attitude adjustment tool, keep it in the truck. Never hurts so have something like that handy just in case.

I hate it when animals do that. I bet that was messy with a chicken and the chop top.

For me it's usually rabbits or squirrels. I will attempt to slow, stop, or steer wide if there is no other traffic to cause an accident, otherwise they're just going to get hit. Typically they run 90% across the road, across my lane and into the other one, as I'm approaching. No traffic from the other direction, then for some dumb reason they decide to turn around and go back when it's too late to stop. Somehow the still usually avoid getting hit, I don't know if they dart between the wheels and I pass over, or they correct in the other direction at the last instant.

I used to find a lot of stuff when I rode bike more often. I covered a lot of miles at speeds where I noticed everything. I found a wallet once that looked like it exploded all over the road. It was right next to a rail crossing so I figured they left it on their roof pumping gas or something. I gathered up what I could see and was able to find contact info on a hunting license. There was only a few dollars in cash but probably $1k in various gift cards. I don't know how the guy carried this thing around; it was like 3" thick with all the cards.

I have a 22”, 1/2” drive breaker bar in the trucks for that.

Wasn’t too messy with the chicken, the feathers blew out going down the road. Many many years ago that happened, think I was still on 33’s at the time. The deer made a lot more of a mess, especially the one that someone else hit and then I found it after a semi went over it. Had gore splattered all over.

I really try not to hit animals in the road, hit a raccoon once, a big one. I had no place to go, big ditch on each side and oncoming traffic and this big coon gets up on the road in front of me and starts running down the road right where your tires go directly away from me. Bah-boom. Got a piece of bone shoved through a tread block for a slow leak. Took a lot of work to dig the bone out of my tire. Nope, don’t like hitting them.

Pipe wrenches can be handy tools, I’ve used them a lot. I have a small one for twisting out broken bolts, grabs better than vice grips. Used an 18” one for adjustments on steel and wood. Twisting steel pins that are stuck in hard ground out…
