I have a 2008 Ford Ranger with the TPS system. It tells you when you have a tire with low air pressure. I bought a really nice set of rims and do not want to buy the new sending units. It is $100 plus per wheel to buy the compatible sending units. Anybody know how to deactivate the system so I will not get the notice on my dash?
thanks for any advise.

You can't put a price tag on safety devices. Is your life or truck worth $400??? I had the TPS light illuminate while on I-95 and that gave me a couple of extra seconds to slow down and get off of the road before the rim, truck, or driver could be damaged.
