Didn't the floorpan change in 98? Along with seat not having rails that could be unbolted anymore? That may just be the regular cab though.

Hopefully someone with a newer truck can help.

Ebay sellers seem to think 98-02 is the same. Seat rails definitely look different from my 88. Which I know is the same as 92. So I'm gonna say no unless you're willing to drill/cut/weld.

As an alternative, I took my 2002 Ranger XLT into the auto upholstery shop primarily to redo the seats. The driver's side seat cushioning was really bad. I had looked around for replacements and gave up.

I had this Denver shop replace the headliner as well. The result was superb. I'm so pleased to have followed this route.

Can you recommend the upholstery shop that you had the seats done? How much did it run you? Also in the Denver area.

I spent $800 for the seats, headliner, and sunvisors back in 2016. It was well worth the money for me.

98-11 is the same cab floor. The earlier ones were somewhat different. I don't think the 92 seats will directly bolt in, but I'm not 100% certain.
