seen it done and I really don't like how it looks on an extended cab, it makes the roof look too high.

Do your BII doors have the wing windows? I had a cherry set with wings I put on my ranger I guess I am old school, I just like the wings. Keep the pics coming.

No they're the one piece glass. I'm putting third gen mirrors on it anyway though so the wing window woulda been a waste.

I got my windshield cutter today. I got the windshield out quicker than I got the slider out, the hacks that worked on this truck before put the sucker back in with butyl (for those of you who don't know manufacturers haven't used butyl since the 70s.) No wonder it leaked right above the rearview mirror.

heres a photoshop of what its gonna look like..
Now, this is only my opinion and doesn't count for squat...it's your ride, and therefore what you like....

But I don't like it.

Have you looked into a sliver bottom to go w/ the black top, or vice-versa???

over done and I want to keep the stock color incorporated with the scheme.

I would personally reverse the colours, green top and black bottom. I know what you're saying about keeping some of it "stock". Mines the same way.

I did a poll on it when I first came up with the scheme about a year and a half ago, 99% of everyone said black on top. Dunno, I just like the darker color on top, seems to be how most two-tone jobs are.

I've already got all the paint for the job anyway, so I'm pretty much set lol.

man that is a tough call but i think the black on top would be better bec ause it would hide your "sunroof" better

Heres some pictures of the rust I fixed behind the dash. This is a VERY common problem with the 83-92 Rangers..

before..

after..

some primer, seam sealer, maybe a little paint, and some undercoating it'll be almost good as new. At least I won't have wet carpet when it rains, unless I leave the top off LOL.

and since my doors don't have speaker mounts, I got some component kick panels.

Got the kick panels, Pioneer Component set (5 1/4" woofer and 7/8" tweeter), and a Pioneer 10" sub for $160. Cardomain was having a sale and it was all 75% off. YES, cardomain sells car parts!
