Never had one but got a Rossi M92 on order, heard good things about them. Not a hunter at all but got for home use. Can't understand why even a lever gun is on backorder. 20" barrel in 44 Mag, something that makes a big bang and big holes! Anything to watch for or comments?

Personally I don't like the dainty rotating safety thing in the back upper part of the receiver, it feels like a stern look would break it off.

Production has shifted to semi autos and magazines...nothing else matters right now.

My credo
I need more sleep.
My grandpa owns pretty much all the models of the Winchester lever action rifles, and they work too. He keeps the on display up in the rafters of his house so they make great display pieces as well.

What a gun! Neat idea but about $2-3K above what I'm looking to spend. Remember you guys up there got some big critters to contend with and need something like that.

Yea the Co-Pilot in .50 cal is nice, team that up with a .454 Casull and you suddenly speak bear but then situational awareness is big, cant let them get the jump on you. The Co-Pilot is really nice for smaller planes like Supercubs that have not been moded for extended cargo in the rear fuselage. I still have my Win. 30-30 I got for my 13th b-day 800 years ago too.

I have 2 lever guns. A Marlin 39a 22 & A Browning BLR 308. Both are very accurate. I don't know about the Rossi you want but the Rossi guns I have seen were good.
