Just an FYI since I'm buying my second set.

Very quiet for an A/T, tread not especially aggressive, good in rain and snow, and last about 40,000 miles on the roads here, which is good for any tire. Also they don't cost a lot. Will go from Pittsburgh to Florida in a straight shot at +/- 80 mph, twice, and not complain or overheat.

Still halfway decent tread on them, passed state inspection this month but will be a little iffy by the time the snow is here. Was gonna wait until December or so but punctured one on a piece of metal on the highway when I was on vacation in FL and had to buy another one then. Figured I might as well get the other three when I got home.

Destinations and transforces are some of my favorite a/t tires. I'm surprised you're only getting 40k out of them though.

mine were pretty good and did a few good smoke shows before the tread was gone. i could break em' loose in 2nd on dry tar. but they never once got me stuck all winter long. i only got about 12k outta the 4 but i was doing burnouts everyday... i wish i could pick all the rubber off the road and put it back on the tread hahaha but they're good tires for a light truck

i've got them on my truck too, wet/dry traction i would say is good/very good, my only complaint is that they don't seem to evacuate water that well so they are more prone to hydroplaning if you hit a puddle in the road than my last set.

Only got 25k out of the stock Goodyears on this and any other Ford truck I got new. The roads here suck and are hard on tires. My sister lives an hour over the border in Ohio and easily gets over 60k on the same Goodyear RT/S's. Lotta turns, lotta hills, lotta potholes. Even my bud who owns the tire shop says that if you get 40k out of any tire here you're doing good.
