If you use a C-4 from a floor shift car, all you need to rig it is a straight rod between the two (the 67-70 linkage rod from a Stang works, all it needs is to be shortened) A C-5 tailshaft housing doesn't fit a C-6, there's nothing that interchanges between the C4/5 and C6. C-6 has a 31 spline output, the others have a 28 spline. You will have to wait till you have the engine and transmission in place before knowing if you need to modify the driveshaft (if at all) As for the crossmember, you can either move it or fab a new one. I did the later, it's a simple part to fab. 3" channel with a 1.25" piece of angle welded upright, holes punched thru for bolts and socket access (I love Iron worker machines) A single 1/2" bolt secures it to the frame on either side. It sits up inside the frame, making it fully adjustable forward and rear.

As said above nothing interchange between the C4/C5 and the C6. You can swap parts between a C4 and a C5 though. A crossmember is easy, similar to baddads and I made my driveshafts as well.
