My credo
Deengineer until it is how Blue Oval should have sold it!!
Those seats were the optional Ford hi backs made by Recaro (super comfortable perforated leather, fully adjustable and electric); they came standard in some Explorer and Bronco II's, which models I am not certain (Eddie's are a good guess). The first set that I saw, I bought; they came out of a Bronco II with the matching 50/50 rear fold downs seats!! They were dealer options even for all RBV's. The optional fronts listed for $900.

I am still looking for the matching set of those, for BII rear in blue; to date, the only BII rear set I've seen were gray. I wish that I had bought them 🙃

PRICE DROP I NEED THIS GONE. COME GET IT. $6,000. OBO

HEY EVERYONE. Truck is still for sale. Its been at a dealer lot for the past 10 months and i just haven't had the time to deal with all this. Truly i was just ignoring it cause i have a toddler and life is complicated enough lol

However, dealer hit me up and said it's gotta go. Here's the deal. Will explain best i can.

Long story short: Broker had a buyer for it, we had it listed at i think 11k. The guy took it to his indie mechanic and the mech said the brake lines needed replaced (not off the rotor, i replaced those) but i guess the steel lines. And he also said the front passenger shock tower had rust and needed to be cut out and replaced.... Which i thought was insane cause i worked on that thing at least 100 hours myself and never saw that. But yeah its old and has rust here and there. Roof has a some paint peeling, and the rocker panel was repaired kind of poorly and has rust there. But anyways - his shop quoted him 3k for the repair... buyer backed out, flaky musician type from what he tells me lol... so the broker said since he has received that report, however accurate or not, he can’t sell it w out disclosing it so he asked me to either do the repairs or take it back. We kind of lost communication, they’re busy so i think it just fell by the way-side. Which has been fine w me cause i have a 2 year old and am drowning in life stuff as it is haha. So it’s been good having it there. But now i need it gone and would REALLY prefer it go to someone here who actually loves and understands these trucks!

Hit Me up! COME GET IT. $6000. OBO

I'll attach link to LOTS of new photos tomorrow morning.

A/C needs work, Rocker panel needs fixed and painted, Roof needs painted, If the tires in the picture are still on it they need replaced, Steel brake lines need replaced, power seats need fixed.

You're looking at $4k+ there,

If the Shock tower needs replaced, another $1.5k

You're looking at $5k+ just in repairs.

It might look nice, but it's a $2k truck, no wonder it's still for sale after 2 years.

Well i haven’t been actively trying to sell it for 2 years. But thanks for the vote of confidence. The seats alone are worth almost $2k. So not really sure why you feel the need to troll my post. But anyways. Yes, it does need work, as i said. Leave it to any potential buyers to decide what it’s worth. Thank you.

My credo
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
So not really sure why you feel the need to troll my post.
Agreed. Anyone who doesn’t like the price should just quietly scroll on by. No reason to argue the price unless you want to make a serious offer. In that case, it’s usually better to haggle in a friendly way in private messages. Let’s all be respectful of each other.

Comments like this are why people are trolling your post.

Nobody needs to troll other people's posts but you absolutely have some control over the situation. Your truck that looks beautiful & flawless in the first few pictures apparently has some significant issues, it's been listed for years now and people are going to call you out on that, saying that your price is not in line with its condition. My advice is to post a bunch more pictures as you promised, showing the truck from all angles, inside & out, undercarriage, under the hood, etc and be honest and accurate. The "I know what I have" type comments do not help things sell.
