Before I totally derail the thread I will show what tool I like using the best;

With the right hammer you can do almost anything, from destruction to construction, from building houses to brain surgery. They're amazing! My most used one I don't have a pic of, but it's a craftsman 16 oz claw hammer that I use for everything from framing to finishing.

Wait till you see my favoritist hammer....A 10 lb sledge head on a 18" wooden handle. One smack and things come apart! While an appropriately sized charge of explosives will take something apart too, and makes a satisfying BANG! I still like the hands on approach.

A specific orange handled screwdriver, I'll post a picture when I can. I opened up my door to figure out why my window wasn't rolling down shortly after I bought the truck, I found the regulator in three different pieces, I also found a bottle of cologne, a house for sale by owner sign, and this orange handled screwdriver which I have since nicknamed my "seventeen hundred dollar(the amount I paid for the truck) screwdriver" since at the time it was worth more than the truck. I use it for every job I've done mostly as a prying tool since I've hit it with a sledge several times and it has proved surprisingly strong.

It's the front seal remover included in the 2.8 tool kit. It has conical threads that bite into the seal as you screw it in, then a threaded center that works against the crank to pull the seal.

The corresponding seal installer (OTC 303-093) is awesome as well. I wish I hadn't use a Ford seal, so it would leak again and I could have another opportunity to use these tools ;-)

I like a torch, too. But MAPP gas, not oxy-acy. With a MAPP torch you can loosen any stubborn fastener and not risk damage to treated parts. Much, much hotter than propane. With a kit, you can use the red oxygen bottles with it and make the extra heat. But you don't need it.

I'm also a hammer fan. My brother came from the city to the woods about 20 years ago to visit. I was splitting wood, which I heated with back then, and he took my sledge and swung it at a wedge and hit the handle, breaking it. It became an 8# hammer with an 8" handle. I have used it ever since for close-in dirty work. Heat it with MAPP and smack it with the 8# fist.
