I "THINK" that it's 1/8" NPT, but
You'll need a couple of nipples, and maybe a straight or an angled union to go with the "T". Space is a premium in that area, but it's easily doable if you have a basic fitting parts selection on hand, and think things through when making the modification.
And it will depend on what you're plumbing in. I kept the original sending unit and added a compression fitting for a flexible line tube.
