Yeah, I don't think it is really good for much more than freaking out city slickers that just know what it looks like.
It MAY have high enough levels of CBD to be beneficial for pain, anxiety, etc.. but I'm not sure.

It was like that when I found it.
Interesting info. Makes me want to grow some. Pretty amazing how far the different strains and newer cultivars and hybrids of cannabis have come since I was a youngster. This new medicinal stuff is crazy "high" content.

I always wondered if I freaked my neighbors out when I started growing hops. Especially when I wander out there and rub a few cones together in my hands and take a big sniff to check the progress.

& the amount of info available online now makes growing almost too easy. EVERYTHING is documented somewhere. A person can find out what strains will grow best in their geographical location.. common problems with said strains.. what to use for nutes.. average thc content.. average yield per plant.. everything.

My father is just an old hippie. Guy tried growing some weed in his attic a few years ago, did everything as well as he could. Followed all the suggestions/ rules to make the most potent plant he could.

Ended up being so strong he just tossed it all in the trash. Said he couldn’t take more then one hit before he was a complete vegetable and stuck on the couch.

Yeah sometimes too much of a good thing is a bad thing...

Need to try to grow the milder retro types.

Just roll smaller doobies than you did back in the day 😆

You could also just harvest whatever a little early. That'll make it a little milder. Or just run sativas unless it's bedtime.

Yup, I tried some pot a few years ago after 30 years without. I was catatonic for several hours. Not for me...
But I may try CBD for pain relief.

The garden here seems to be about done for the year, zucchini did very well as did the small salad tomatoes. corn & large tomatoes did fairly well. Green beans didnt, we tried a new variety since the blue lakes were sold out when we were starting the garden. Its looking like its the last year at this property (if all goes well in the next couple of weeks) so I’ll be mowing it all, tilling it up, tossing some clover down & spreading some straw down.

Yeah, I need to get the shredder out and knock ours down.

I drained antifreeze out of my Ranger for all of its recent coolant work. I replaced it with new and dumped the old in the ol' Oliver to see how low it was. It took 2gal and a week later it is still full plus I am not gaining oil so I am going to count that a win.

Someone stole the radiator cap while it was parked and it has a cover built into the hood that covers the cap which kept crap out of it (and anyone from noticing the cap was gone)... I suppose it evaporated out?

I siphoned what brake fluid I could out of the Oliver's cylinders. Dad brought over his borescope and we had a look.

Looks really good inside.

dont need a overheating combine, there was one combine fire locally this fall.
I put a new radiator in the 2000 this summer, that was a pain with all the sheet metal to remove, not even remotely a 1 person job. Ive got the rear blade on it now, that way if I do get snow its all set to go. Im not bothering with the front blade on the lawn deere, I did put the chains & rear weights on, I have a long driveway now and with the yard cart I can get both trash cans to the road at one time.

The thing on the side with the lights is barely hanging on, it basically gets removed and leaned open to get the radiator out and then wired back in place until the new rad gets up there. Then you have to keep it from falling off as you wiggle the rad and fan support in.

The whole thing kinda feels like replacing a battery in a iPad. It can be done but I am not sure you are really supposed to...

Well the oliver got hurt tonight, took a branch to the grille.

20211215_183835.jpg

Also has one on the hood, cant see where it did much to the oliver bur the big end is on the shifter for the wd-45... which is less than ideal.
