I'm sure many of you have heard about this off-road, trophy truck coming from Ford, but it is rather difficult to find a picture of it on the internet that aren't spy shots. According to a F150 raptor website it should have fords new 6.2 with an estimated 420 horse. Its going to be wider and lower then a regular 150, but has 12 inches of travel compared to the fx4 counterpart. Sounds like a neat truck
Well, I happened to stumble upon a "special" raptor in the new dupont registry, and what an amazing vehicle it was. They called it the off-road supercar. This "special" f150 comes with a roush 427 cu race motor. The paint was impressive, obviously high quality with an agressive yet luxurious look. The price for it was $650,000. A little steep for my pocket book. It has Mercedes AMG hand stitched leather seats, Rolls Royce carpeting, and the inside looked on par with something Aston Martin would put together. The only difference is this will easy run 140+ mph over dirt, sand or whatever you are ballsy enough to drive it over. It has an 85 gallon fuel tank that they expect 500 miles out of (im assuming while wide open across baja). I can't remember everything it had in it, but if you happen to be at your local walls, safeway, kings or whatever, flip to the middle of the new dupont. It has a full page. Definitally a truck that needs to be seen. Makes me anxious for what will actually go out into production.
