My credo
Crossed threads are tight threads.
My uncle has an F150 same gen as mine (04-08)...It is very beat and seems the rear leaf springs are shot.

I started shopping around and have not had much luck.

Rock auto had some, but after shipping they wanted $1600 for pair.

I just need basic leaf springs...Have seen some scrap yarders on fleabay....but thinking I should avoid used?

I'd like to get the pair for under $500 total. Any suggestions where to buy?

I suggest good used. You can eyeball them and see if they are any good, not all trucks were abused and you might find one that was wrecked in the front with everything good in the rear.

I picked a 2005 f150. They list these types of springs, not sure what the letters mean. You might want to research that part.

The site is www.car-part.com. Here is just a sample from California, there are a ton of them listed on there, most are 100-150 each.

I was hoping it would be something, like order and it shows up on my doorstep.

Reasons I'd rather not go to a pull yard....
-I hate looking for stuff
-I am sick of wrenching
-I am flat broke when it comes to time.

Unfortunately, I dont have the eff u money to throw a grand and change at it either.

Don’t know what the shipping is, but this site is showing about $150 a side. Seems about right.
