I have a buddy out in PA with a 5.0 AWD and he needs to replace the bars that go from the top of the rear axle to inside the frame rail. What are they called technically?

Probably some sort of anti-wrap device.

I think Ford's technical term for them is Torque Arm and they came standard on 5.0L Expo's I believe. Both the 00 & 98 that I've raped the drivetrains out of had them.

Anti-wrap device? yup... Also called a traction bar..

You thought axle-wrap was bad with the 225ft/lb the 4.0 motor makes....

Try it with 300ft/lb
