OK moderators, if this violates a rule feel free to delete.

Two 4WD Explorers at local recycle yard, rear diffs as stated above. Look to be in good shape, just lite Alabama rust. $125 ea., you remove. Nothing in it for me just hate to see 'em scrapped. Located about 10 miles east of Cullman, AL on AL hwy 69. Be glad to meet someone there & hand wrenches but I'm not taking them out & shipping (just too dang old). Owner says the '95 is supposed to have a good 4.0 engine but he's never heard it run.

Reduced price: Owner starting to haul away stuff. New price for diffs - $75 - you remove. All be gone end of July.

Update: TRS tech library says Explorer axle code D2 is 4.10 ratio NOT 3.73 like I first posted.

FWIW: Naked Duck tells me both Explorers have D35 front diffs - direct replacement for D28 front diffs under 1st gen Rangers. I have not examined either, didn't think about it at the time. Will do so if anyone expresses a serious interest.

There's also a '90 long bed std cab Ranger w/ good front cap & interior (blue) & an '86 std cab w/ OK sheet metal.

I want to clarify....

Only 91-94 explorers have the D35.

My bad. Misunderstood earlier conversation. One Explorer is a '95, the other a '99 or '00

Yep, gone.
However; there was a '96 Explorer there a week ago with 5.0 engine (400k+ miles), axle code D4 (3.73) disc brakes $150, you remove.
