Explorer front-end on 2nd gen Ranger

Hey guys, I've got a 97 regular cab short bed and am thinking about changing the front-end out for a explorer's front-end, and I've got a couple of questions.
A - has anyone done this?
B - are they relatively bolt-on or do I need to modify them to fit on my truck
C - front bumper, is it the same or do I need to modify it for the Ranger? (I want the fog lights... lol)

Explorer doesn't have the bodyline and the fenders are wider... so you gotta piece together the fenders.

Ford did build exactly one though.
