I'm looking to replace the tires on my wife's car with something a little more offroad friendly. I'm looking at the Yokohama Geolandar A/T-S, which is the only offroad tire I can find in the factory rated P215/60R16 size. I don't wan to go much larger than that, but I could possibly squeeze on a set of P215/65R16 if absolutely necessary, but I'd like to avoid going larger than factory. Anyone who has/had these tires, please let me know you input and/or suggestions. Cheers!

I had them in 10 ply, 245/75/16 on a 3/4 ton diesel. Wore fast, and were snotty in the snow. Won't be buying them again. I can't imagine snow is a factor in Tucson, maybe they will work better in the dry.

If you are looking for not so aggressive all around tires, Geolandar A/T-S is a good choice. The common concerns about this tire are its tread wear and poor grip on wet pavement.

I wore out a set on a Suzuki Grand Vitara. They lasted almost 60,000 miles, but I rotate and keep a good eye on pressure. Quiet on the road, work well in the rain and made an excellent snow tire on my vehicle. Terrible in the mud though, they don't self-clean at all.
