Expedition Oil filter relocation

So I put a starter on an Expedition yesterday and noticed they come with a oil filter relocation kit from factory.

Im sure this has been discussed before but maybe some worth rediscovering or adding to the tech section if it isn't already there. I might take a drive to the junk yard to grab one.

Thats where my 97/98 was. Stupid location, smoked a deer with my 97 and had to be towed home.

Talk to Ford home boy, I just thought it would be another option for guys to go to the jy and grab one. I put my oil filter here.

Expedition had the 5.4 triton.. would that oil filter relocation fit a 302??

Maybe I think the 4.6 and 5.0 use the same oil filter so the 5.4 should use the same. Worst case scenario you get the oil filter end from the jy and a L&L products engine side with an10 lines and fittings.

what about the ford 90 degree block mount filter? will thry work on v8 swapped rangers?
the style that still mounts oil filter near block, just turns it 90 degrees

4.6/5.4 use a FL-820S, metric threads. 302 uses the old FL1A which is standard threads

Your results may vary, I do not have room with mine. Steering box is all over it.
