I recently upgrade my drive train w/ a 5.0. The stock exhaust was left on due to time constraints.

I have had a Flowmaster 50 series on my last 5.0 Ranger and liked it but I have grown up a little and value, what is left, my hearing. I had a Thurst on it before and it was way too loud. I do not think a 40 series would be any better either. I was curious if anyone has heard or used a Borla or MagnaFlow system on their personal vehicles. I have listened to countless Borla video on YouTube.

My brother has a Ford Racing axleback on his '11 Mustang made by Borla. It sounds pretty good but may be louder than you want.

You may want to check into Magnaflow stuff. My soon to be father in law has a kit on his '13 F-150, just a little burble until he gets on it... then she talks.

I got glasspacks on my Ranger and I is happy. :3gears:

And glasspacks with cats sound pretty mellow too, I am tired of throwing thrushes on my F-150 and have a set of Magnapaks for this time around.

I checked out the Magnaflow video's and I think I will go that route. It is a lot more mellow but when you get on it, it sounds pretty nasty. It makes you think 'maybe this guy has something under the hood' and you jump it then it is 'bazinga punk'.
