HELL YEAH!!!

got the last couple sockets today.
now I have a complete socket set (well, the smallest is a nut driver) from 3/32" to 31/32" in 1/32 increments.
a few of the sizes have a metric equivalent, most notably is the 21.5mm / 21mm flip socket for 27/32"

anybody have any odd-ball nuts they need removed? :icon_rofl:

Seriously, you can never have enough tools. Doesn't matter if you ever use it. How does that saying go:

I'd rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

I am probably going to own all of the tools in the entire Milwaukee M18 ecosystem whether I need them or not.

I currently have the drill, impact driver, Sawzall, angle grinder, and leaf blower.

If it's cheap (used, pawn shop/yard sale etc) and looks remotely useful I buy it. I have a ton of weird pullers, pliers, specialty stuff, etc that I may never use... But if it cost me next to nothing, it's worth having, and that practice has paid off many times. Some things like Ford hub sockets I'll buy several of, keep one in every truck.

I buy estate sale tool lots often too. Sometimes it's junk but other times I score - my last auction lot had a bunch of old Bonney body hammers, dollies, etc, really good stuff from back in the day.

I do not. I wait until I need it, then I go buy it.

Close to 40 years of collecting tools. Former mechanic, former Machinist and I have three roll-a-ways full of tools, plenty of Snap On. I rarely don't have a tool I need.

Lead follow or get out of my way
I bought my first set of mechanics tools in 1979. I've been adding to it ever since. I had a rule when doing this stuff for a living... if I borrowed it I needed it. Tool purchases have slowed way down but I did buy some Milwaukee M18 and M12 stuff recently. I just want to know where the M12 stuff has been my entire life.

When I get to Michigan and set up a shop I will have a couple big purchases. A hoist, torches and a decent drill press. But I will get to reel back in some of my bigger tools I left in Michigan when I moved to Illinois. Blast cabinet... press... parts washer and all my VW air cooled machine tools.
